Dear Superintendent Chen, Deputy Representative Hsu, distinguished guests, speakers, moderators, ladies, and gentlemen

On behalf of the Changhua County Government, I would express my sincere congratulation to Changhua Christian Hospital for its 125th anniversary. CCH is the most historic medical center in central Taiwan to uphold the spirits of Christ Jesus' selfless dedication and humble service for the patients.

Today is the day CCH and Taiwan Patient Safety Culture Club co-host the "International Online Conference on Smart Healthcare Technology and Patient Safety." Professional speakers share patient safety care performance to strengthen hospitals to be highly reliable organizations.

Moreover, congratulate CCH for having the Patient Safety Movement Foundation, 5-Star Hospital Award in 2020. The Patient Safety Movement Foundation has presented awards to 11 hospitals worldwide, and Changhua Christian Hospital is the first in Asia. There are 18 Actionable Patient Safety Solutions (APSS), such as the safety culture, hand hygiene, hospital-acquired infection, medication errors, patient blood management, hand-off communications, fall prevention, airway safety, etc. Each APSS shows that CCH leadership and staff make patient safety commitments and devote themselves to preventing harm to patients.

It's my pleasure to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with CCH and my honor to be an opening remark speaker. I wish CCH to be the patient safety worldwide foregoer and bless today's conference successfully.
